BRANCH PINNING

When you have an incredibly creative and highly edited map, with control points, freehand branches, and lots of spacing, you can lock these branches in place using Branch Pins. Branches which are pinned will ignore any effects from the SmartLayout settings.

To pin your branches:

  1. Select the branch you wish to hold in place.
  2. Click on Layout in the toolbar.
  3. Click on the Pin icon and select between the 3 options that appear. You can Pin just the branch, the Branch and it's children, or the branch and it's parent

To unpin your branch:

  1. Select the branch you wish to hold in place.
  2. Click on Layout in the toolbar.
  3. Click on the Unpin icon and select between the 3 options that appear. You can unpin just the branch, the Branch and it's children, or the branch and it's parent.
