INSERTING NEW SLIDES

Once you have entered Presentation View you will notice you have a Slides menu to the left hand side, this acts as your Presentation 'timeline'.

If you have chosen the Auto Complete option, you will see a list of slides where iMindMap has automatically created them for you.

If you have chosen to Create your Own Presentation, you will notice you just have an initial slide of your Central Idea to the left.

In both Auto Complete and Create your Own options, your Presentation is still completely customizable and you can remove any slides you don't like or insert new slides to the specific sections of your Mind Map. You can add a slide for any item in your Mind Map, including Images, Floating text and Flowcharts.

To create a New Slide:

  • Select an item on your Mind Map by left clicking on it.
  • Select the Plus icon on the Slide panel to the left of the screen:

  • If you wish to insert a Slide in between two existing Slides, select the smaller Plus icon in between them as shown below:

You can select multiple items of your Mind Map and insert these as a slide simply by holding down the Ctrl key and selecting all of the items you wish to insert.

Once they are all highlighted in the Presentation View, clicking on a Plus icon will insert all of them in to the same slide.

For example, below you can see that the branches assessment, review, revisit, objectives and activity have been selected

By clicking the Plus icon on the left you will notice that these branches will appear as a slide as you can see below:

To remove a slide:

  • Right click on a slide from the Slide menu and select Remove Slides
  • You can also select the Delete Slide button from the main tool bar within the Presentations tab.
  • You can also simply select a slide and press the Delete key on your keyboard.
