Writing Text on a Branch

When you add a branch to your iMindMap, you will need to include a key idea. Using one word per branch sparks off a greater number of associations which will help you think of new ideas.

Writing a Word on top of a Branch

Tap on the branch you want to write on.

Tap the "Text" button to open your keyboard.

Type the word you want to add to the branch.

You can change the colour of your word by tapping on the black box to open your paint box.

Now select the colour you want from the paint box to change the colour of your word.

When you are happy with your word and your word colour, tap the green tick.

If you don’t want to add a word anymore, tap the red “X”.

When you have added a word to your branch, it will follow the line of your branch.

Writing a Word in a Shape

You can also write a word on the inside of a Shape.

Tap on the Shape you want to write in.

Tap on the "Text" button to bring up the keyboard.

Type the word you want to add to the Shape.

You can change the colour of your word by tapping on the black box to open your paint box.

Tap on one of the colours to change the colour of your word.

When you are happy with your word and your word colour, tap the green tick.

If you don’t want to add a word anymore, tap the red X.

When you tap the green tick, the word will be on the inside of the Shape.
