Saving your Mind Map


Saving your map locally.

To save your Mind Map, Brainstorm, Time Map or Fast Capture to your computer, please follow these steps:

 

  1. Go to file
  2. Click on Save as
  3. Click on the computer icon at the top of the list.
  4. Choose your name and the location on your computer to save it to.
  5. The file will be saved as an .imx file, this can be opened by iMindMap only.

 

 

Saving your Mind Map to the Cloud

 

An iMindMap Cloud & Mobile subscription is required for unlimited access to the iMindMap Cloud.

 

If you do not have an active subscription to iMindMap Cloud & Map, you can save up to 5 iMindMap creations to the iMindMap Cloud.

 

To save your iMindMap project to the iMindMap Cloud:

 

  1. Go to File > Save As > Cloud
  2. If you are not already signed in to your iMindMap account, you will be prompted to do so
  3. Enter a name for your map as it will appear on the Cloud
  4. Select Create

5. Your work will then be synchronised to the iMindMap Cloud. This means you can access it from other iMindMap supported devices.
