Transferring and deactivating a license


To deactivate your license so you can transfer it to a new device, update your operating system or for any other reason that would cause you to re-install iMindMap, please follow these instructions:

iMindMap 10, 9 and 8

  1. Run iMindMap and select the '?' icon from the top right hand corner of the software window.
  2. Select 'Deactivate' from the bottom right of the screen.
  3. Select the pink 'Deactivate' button in the pop up window.

 




iMindMap 7

  1. Run iMindMap and select the '?' icon from the top right hand corner of the software window.
  2. Select 'Upgrade License'.
  3. Select 'Deactivate Current License' in the bottom right hand corner of the window.
  4. Select 'I understand deactivate'.

iMindMap 6 and below

     Please contact our support team with your serial number.

iMindMap 10, 9 and 8

  1. Run iMindMap and click on the Help Menu on the Menu Bar
  2. Click on options to bring up your serial number
  3. Click the “Deactivate” icon next to your serial number.
  4. This will bring up a pop-up menu, click on “Deactivate” to confirm.

iMindMap 7

  1. Run iMindMap and click on the Help Menu on the Menu Bar
  2. Click on options to bring up your serial number
  3. Select 'Deactivate Current License' in the bottom right hand corner of the window.
  4. This will bring up a pop-up menu, click on “Deactivate” to confirm.
